Gaggimate - Day 1

I wanted something to fiddle with and figured why not modernize my Gaggia Classic. So I ordered a gaggimate pro with all the trimmings. Shipping was prompt and relatively quick. Everything was excellently packed. Flashed the board and display and was ready to go.

The guide is functional but not great, the pictures leave a bit to be desired and the wiring guide would be better if it showed the monoblock and the cable, along with some sort of orientation. Slowly but surely over the next two hours I got most of the connectors hooked up. Some issues are that the wire connectors to enable the button have no chance of fitting in the monoblock without falling out. I ended up putting the monoblock to the side and hooking things up directly. Will go over all the terminals with tape or heat wrap.

Tonight is to go over the cabling again, and hook up the pump. Then maybe make some coffee!
